Slow Food Southwest Washington

Slow Food SWWA is the local chapter of Slow Food USA for Southwest Washington, including Clark County and surrounding areas, from the coast in the west to the eastern Columbia River Gorge, from Vancouver--on the Oregon border--north to Centralia, or thereabouts. Our mission is to build ties within the community between those who grow, gather, and produce great food and those who love to eat it. Many of us have growing families with young children, so Slow Food SW WA also focuses on issues that affect children, including the lunch food that's available in schools. Check out Slow Food USA's Time for Lunch Campaign.

Our goal is to raise awareness of the important food-related issues we face in the best ways we know how--by gathering together to share information, resources, and, most importantly, a meal. All Slow Food events are open to the public. We hope you'll come joins us in growing your local movement.
